  MRS. LEVI BRICKER PASSES AWAY IN HER 68TH YEAR Mrs. Levi Bricker, a lifelong resident of Waterloo and a highly respected citizen passed away on Thursday afternoon at 3.30 o'clock after a month's illness. Although she had been confined to her bed for the past week, death came unepectedly. The late Mrs. Bricker, who was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hartman Schnarr was born in Waterloo Oct. 16th, 1850. In 1870 she was married to Mr. Levi Bricker who survives together with four children, viz: Mrs. Lincoln Goldie, Guelph; Albert E., Rochester, N.Y., Mrs. R. F Ogilvy, Hamilton, and Irvin E.. Vancouver, B.C., She also leaves seven grandchildren. The late Mrs. Bricker was for many years an active member of the Presbyterian Church. A wide circle of friends will learn with sincere regret of the death of Mrs. Bricker, who enjoyed in large measure the warm regard of her friends. The family will have the deep sympathy of a large acquaintanceship in the hour of their bereavement. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock from the residence to the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Chronicle Telegraph (Waterloo, Ontario), March 14, 1918, page 5
