- RIDDELL, Reginald Gale of 25 Dumfries Street, Cambridge on Thursday, November 26, 1998 in his 86th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Muriel Eileen (Bryden) Riddell, April 29, 1982. Sadly missed by 4 children Brian Riddell and Nancy, Marilyn Gibbons and husband John, Terry Riddell and Trudy, all of Cambridge and Rick Riddell and wife Carole of St. Thomas, eight grandchildren and five great-grand- children and by his close companion Ann Brown. Also survived by a brother Bob Riddell and wife Alice of Ottawa, a sister Helen Etheridge and husband Len of Merrickville. Predeceased by a brother Allen Riddell and a sister Edna Brown. Gale was a veteran of WWII with the RCAF stationed in the North Atlantic in Iceland and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Galt Branch 121. Gale retired from Hostess-Frito Lay in the mid seventies to hone his skills on the golf course. He was a weekday member at Doon Valley Golf Club where he walked 18 holes of golfed 5 days a week from April to October with his friends Len, Bill and Ron.
