  Merner, Minnie - At her residence, Winston Hall, Kitchener (Bridgeport), on Thursday, Nov. 1, 1979, Minnie Merner, age 87 years, a lifelong resident of Waterloo. Miss Merner was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Kitchener (Bridgeport) and a retired employee of Mutual Life Assurance Company, where she had been employed for 35 years. She was a daughter of the late Ammon Merner and Sophia Ernst. Survived by one sister, Mrs. William (Norah) Knell of Kitchener, three nephews and one niece. Two sisters predeceased her, Mrs. Minerva McGuirk and Mrs. Irene Doerr. Resting at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, where the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. this evening. The funeral and committal service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home, Saturday at 4 p.m., Rev. R. W. Huras officiating. Internment in Mount Hope cemetery, Waterloo.
