    • John M. Salm, 71, of 90 Caroline Waterloo, died Sunday at St. Mary's Hospital after a short illness.

      Born Oct. 16, 1886, in Bamberg. was a resident of Waterloo for years. A cabinet maker, he was employed by Canada Cabinets and Furniture Ltd.

      He was a member of St. Louis RC Church, Waterloo. the Holy Name Society and the League of the Sacred Heart of that church. His wife predeceased him 14 years ago.

      Surviving are a son, Edward Salm of Waterloo; three daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Theresa) Murphy of Waterloo, Mrs. E. L. (Marie) Fisher of Kitchener and Mrs. (Gertrude) Sehneider of Port Dover; a brother, John B. Salm of Waterloo and a sister, Mrs. Crescentia Madter of Waterloo,

      Five grandchildren also survive.

      The body is at the Walsh Funeral Home. where the rosary will be recited tonight at Prayers will be said the funeral home Tuesday at 8:45 am. Removal will be made to RC Church Tuesday for requiem high mass at 9 am, burial will be in Waterloo Mount Hope Cemetery
