  PICKARD, Verna Isabel Peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998. Verna Pickard of Cambridge, is the daughter of the late Annie and Charles Pickard. Beloved sister of Oscar (Pick) J. Pickard of Cambridge and sister-in-law of the late Ruth Pickard (1998). Dear aunt of Lynne Firmani and her husband Onello of Cambridge; great-aunt of Sara Firmani of Cambridge and Nleghan Charters of Inverary. Ont. Miss Verna Pickard was a longtime receptionist for the late Dr. K.C. King and was a member of St. Andrew's Galt Presbyterian Church. Friends will be received at Coutts & Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, today (Tuesday), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Private services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel, on Wednesday, Dec. 30,1998.
