  Harold Dawson Harold Bruce Dawson of Cambridge, passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, March 31, 1999. He was in his 79th year. Born in Ayr, he was a son of the late R. Bruce Dawson and Margaret Forbes. Harold was a retired crane operator with S. McNally and Son of Hamilton. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 121, Galt and of the Navy Club. Loving husband of Melba. Survived by his children David and Sharon Dawson of Scotland and Bonnie and Tony Oliver of Cambridge; his step-children Greg Murdock of Cambridge and Sandra and Orm Mason of Bayfield; six grandchildren; brothers Gordon of Bracebridge and Jack of Windsor; sisters Jessie Dawson of Paris and Margaret Foster of St. Catharines. Predeceased by his daughter Lori Lee. At Harold's request, there will be no service, cremation has taken pace. Arrangements by Corbett Funeral Home, Cambridge. The Ayr News Apr 7 1999 pg 13
