  BARCLAY, John D.-After a courageous battle, on Friday, Feb. 19, 1993, at University Hospital, London, aged 64 years. John was a long-time member of the K-W Civitan Club and of the Masons, Waterloo Chapter. He was also a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church. John was the owner of Barclay Boiler Service Ltd. for 22 years. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Irene. He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Joyce Barclay and Janice and her husband Robert Heier of Kitchener. Brother to Ken, Wilfred and his wife Peg and Paul and his wife Joanne, Edith and her husband Tom Fusick, Phyllis and her husband Don Newby, Ina and her husband Harold Preiss, Ann and her husband Joe Streicher, Susan and her husband Morris McIntosh. Grandpa will be sadly missed by Kyle and Brittany. John is predeceased by his parents; brother, Stewart and sister, Helen Stilling. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener today (Saturday) from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, on Monday at 2 p.m., Rev. Bill Schafer officiating. Interment to follow at a later date. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
