      Slipped away peacefully, on September 14, 2011, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, after a short illness. Irene, a lifelong resident of Galt, was predeceased by William, her husband of 62 years, in 2002. She is survived by her children, Faye and Gary Viscount of Kingsville, ON, William and Beryl Everingham of Brandon, Man., Lillian Stubbs and David Cole of Brantford and Robbie Everingham and Denise Harvey of Sheffield. One grandchild, Cheryl, predeceased her. Missing her are eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Irene is one of three sisters, Ruth Labelle (deceased) and Lillian Grobe of Kitchener. Until a few years ago, Irene enjoyed golfing and continued to read and knit. One of her passions was games and each generation of children got to enjoy her sense of fun. In the spring, after 69 years in her home, she moved to Riverbend. Irene will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Friends and family will be received at the T. LITTLE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 223 Main Street, Cambridge, on Monday, September 19th from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., for a Memorial Visitation. A Memorial Service will take place at Saint Thomas Anglican Church, 110 Francis Street, Cambridge, on Tuesday, September 20th at 1 p.m. Inurnment to take place at Mount View Cemetery.
