  DONOHUE, JOHN WILLIAM Of 107 State St., Galt, on Saturday, December 23, 1961, in South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, in his 84th year. Mr. Donohue was born in Puslinch Township but lived most of his life in Galt. He was a moulder by trade and had worked for the Canada Machinery Co., Sheldons Ltd. And Babcock-Wilcox and Goldie - McCullough. He was a member of First United Church in Galt. His wife, Mary Hutchison predeceased him in 1959. Surviving are a son, William of Galt and a daughter, Alice (Mrs. George Griffith) of Hamilton and three grandchildren. Service on Wednesday at 2 from the T. Little and Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Fred Roberts of First United Church officiating. Pallbearers: John Wright, Delton Schweitzer, Neil Seveny, Lloyd Shaver, Harry Chesney and Peter Buitenhuis. Interment Mount View Cemetery. -Information from the marriage certificate: Born in Hespeler c. 1882, son of William Donohue and Sarah McDonald. He married Margaret Hutchinson on Sept. 16, 1914. -Note: the birth certificate shows that he was born in 1877 in Wentworth (perhaps on the Gore Rd. ?) A sibling, Sarah was born in Wentworth on Sept. 2, 1869. -Information from marriage certificates: Siblings, Edith (born c. 1879) married 1st ? Weaver, 2nd Everradus Jacobus De Yong; Mary (born c. 1865) married William E. Johnston.
