- SHAVER, Harold "Squeak"
Passed away peacefully, on March 6, 2014, in his 90th year. Predeceased by his wife Shirley (nee Goreing). Loving father to sons, Ron and John and their spouses, Eddie and Donna (nee Reid); grandfather to Lisa and Dustin and their spouses David Culham and Shannon Kelly and great-grandfather to Malaya and Jackson. He is survived by brothers, Jim and wife Marilyn, Paul and wife Dolly and sister Marian. Squeak served on the Western Front, 1944-1945, with the 3rd Anti-Tank Regiment, 3rd Division as a gunner and driver. He is a proud life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 121, Galt. The family would like to say thank-you to all PSW, the Hospice Wellington and to Dr. Cekan. Everyone is invited to join with the family to celebrate Squeak's life, at The Navy Club, 30 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, on Saturday, March 15, 2014, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Coutts Funeral Home, Cambridge.
