- Stadhalle - Church
The structure was built in 1848 to serve as a township hall. In 1870 the building was sold to the Methodist congregation, who enlarged the structure by erecting a side wing. Originally the building was of white brick, but was later painted red. The architecture of the hall was in a very simple Gothic Revival style. After serving as a meeting house for various congreg-ations, the building was purchased by the library board in 1948 and demolished.1a
