- Mrs. Walter A. Starnaman - Mrs. Walter A. Starnaman of 15 Chestnut St. died today at the Coutts Pavilion of Freeport Sanatorium after a brief illness. She was 88. The former Mary Bish, she was born in Guelph, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Bish and had lived in the Twin Cities for 80 years. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church, the Susie Hinman Mission Circle and formerly a member of the Women's Christian Temperance League. She was predeceased by her husband in January, 1938. Surviving are two sons, Robert, and Edson, both of Kitchener; one daughter, Mrs. Lorne (Mabel) Kramer, Kitchener; one brother, James Bish, Waterloo; one sister, Mrs. Frank Tupholme, Toronto; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by one son Herbert in 1963 and by one sister and six brothers. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where the Rev. W.L.Pierce and Rev. H.E. Morphy will conduct the service on Thursday at 3: 30 p.m. Burial will be in the Mount Hope cemetery.
