  BLANCHETTE, Irene Peacefully, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, October 24, 2010, at the age of 95. Dear aunt of John Blanchette and his wife Gail of Paris, Paul Blanchette and his wife Doreen of Cambridge and Gisele Murawsky and her husband Tom of Kitchener, as well as her nieces and nephews in Quebec. Irene will also be sadly missed by all of her great nieces and nephews in Ontario and Quebec. Predeceased by her three sisters and two brothers. Irene was born in Drummondville, Quebec and moved to Cambridge in her 20's. She was employed at the Canadian General Tower and retired from Woolley Shoe. Most recently, Irene was a resident of St. Luke's Place, Cambridge, where she will be missed by staff and residents. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home , 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge where the family will receive friends on Friday, October 29, 2010, from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Ambrose R.C.
