- Mary was a highly-respected resident of Waterloo. She was the relict of the late Conrad Lauber. She was 69 years, 9 months and 5 days. She was born in Wellington township August 3, 1852 and for over 40 years she has resided in Waterloo. She had been ill for about 7 weeks; death was due to heart failure. She left 3 sons, Jacob of Hammond, Indiana, Oscar of Kitchener, Conrad of Toronto and 3 daughters, Clara, Elenora and Mary at home
She had 3 brothers, Jacob and Nicholas Wellheuser of Kitchemer, Louis of Ariss and two sisters, Mrs. R. Hewer of Guelph and Miss P. Wellheuser of Guelph
Her husband predeceased her by 17 years The funeral will be held from her late residence 117 Park Street and later to St Louis Church and the RC cemetery.
