    • MRS. CATHRINE NAHRGANG

      Mrs. Cathrine Nahrgang. 38 Euclid Ave., Waterloo, died yesterday, July 5, at her residence. She was in her 88th year.

      She was born on Oct. 7, 1857, in Waterloo, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Duering. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Her husband, whom she married on May 18, 1879, in Waterloo, died in 1931.

      Surviving are two sons, William, Waterloo, and Albert, Detroit, Mich.: two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Edith) Bullas, Waterloo, and Mrs. Fred (Laura) Berl. Essex; two grandsons and two granddaughters. One grandson is serving in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific. One daughter, Mrs. William Schiefele, predeceased her.

      Mrs. Nahrgang was the last surviving member of the Duering family. The funeral will be held publicly on Sunday at 2:30 pm. from the Funeral Home Schreiter Sandrock Funeral with interment in Waterloo Mt. Hope Cemetery. Rev. H. Creager will officiate in the absence of Rev. C. S. Roberts. Remains are resting at the funeral home.
