- George J. Heimbecker
George J. Heimbecker, 73, of 62 Scott St., died suddenly at his home today. He was born in Wilmot Township, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Adam Heimbecker. His marriage to Effie McCarley. who survives, took place in Kitchener Dec. 26, 1899. Mr. Heimbecker was formerly an employee of the C.P.R. express department for 34 years. He was placed on pension eight years ago. He was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and also the C.P.R. Brotherhood. Surviving besides his widow are one son, George W. Heimbeeker, Kitchener; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Vera) Bowling, Windsor and a sister, Mrs. Willam Rieck, Kitchener. Two grandchildren also survive. One son died in infancy and he was also predeceased by a brother, William, and a sister, Mrs. Emma Fisher. The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home to Mt. Hope Cemetery, Waterloo. Rev. F. G. Stewart will officiate. The body is resting at the funeral home.
