    • Gordon R. Uttley

      Gordon R. Uttley, 67, of 151 Church St. died suddenly at his home Thursday. Born in Elmira, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John R. Uttley. Mr. Uttley was formerly an employee of the Canadian-Blower and Forge Co. He was an Anglican.

      Surviving are six sons, Gordon, Robert, and William of Toronto, Harold of Brantford, Arnold of Flint, Mich., and Frank of Waterloo; his daughters, Mrs. James (Mildred) Crannie of Flint, Mich., and Mrs. Harry (Hilda) Bott, Mrs. Boy (Florence) Burgetz, Mrs. T. O. (Myrtle) Howald and Mrs. Norman (Irene) Snider of Kitchener.

      Also, three: brothers, Wellington of Corfu, N.Y., William of Copper Cliff and Russell of Kitchener, two sisters Mrs. Henry Bassitt of Coniston; Ont., and Mrs. Cecil Bone of Port Hope, 20 grandchildren and two' great grandchildren. His wife, the former. Alvena Schultz, died in 1947; and one son, Arthur, predeceased him in infancy.

      The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where the funeral will be held Monday at 2. p.m. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery with Rev. Harry Janke officiating.
