- The death of Mrs. Catharine Bauman, 81 years, occurred last evening at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. Leo White, 8 Theresa Street, following an illness of two weeks. Mrs. Bauman had resided practically all her life in Waterloo and Kitchener. She was a member of the Christian Mothers' Society.
Her husband Anthony Bauman, died 18 years ago. She is survived by two daughters and two sons, Mrs. Leo White, Mrs. Joseph Diebold, both of this city, John and William Bauman, both of Waterloo. Also surviving are three sisters and three brothers, Mrs. E. Moir, Mt. Clemens, Mich., Mrs. Pauline Le Sardt?, Detroit, Mrs. Francis Schipseer?, Waterloo, Mr. M. Bauman and Mr. Anthony Bauman, Mt. Clemens, Mich., Charles Bauman, Hamilton. There also are 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The remains will be at the Lippert-Hunter Funeral Home until three o'clock tomorrow when they will be removed to the home of Mr. Joseph Diebold, 15 Bierwagen Avenue, a son-in-law of the deceased, whence the funeral will be held at nine o'clock Wednesday morning to St. Mary's Church with interment in Mount Hope Cemetery.
