      HESPELER, June 28. John Frederick Gillow, 88, a life-long resident of Hespeler and district, died at his home, Sunday, following an illness of several months. The late Mr. Gillow was born in Waterloo Township and farmed in the Clearview district until he retired 13 years ago when he moved to Hespeler. He was a member of St. James's Lutheran Church.

      Surviving are his wife and four daughters, Mrs. Clara Rahman and Mrs. Maude Krueger, Hespeler; Mrs. Tillie Bowman, Galt; Mrs. Lyle Brix, Hamilton; two sons. Howard and Clarence of Hespeler; two sisters. Mrs. Fred Schmidt, Hespeler; Mrs. John Grieve, Galt; a brother, Henry Gillow, in Alberta. The funeral was held today with interment in Hespeler Cemetery.
