    • Henry Greb.

      One of the first settlers of Zurich, in the person of Mr. Henry Greb passed away on Monday morning, after an illness lasting about two weeks, the cause of death being a paralytic stroke. The late Mr. Greb came to this country and settled here when all was a wilderness and has been a continuous resident here for over fifty years.

      He was a carpenter by trade and assisted in erecting good many of the old buildings in town. His widow and a family of nine children all survive. The children are, Charles, John and Mrs. John Brenner of Zurich; Mrs. Schneuker of Wellesley ; Mrs. Henry Roese and William of Stratford Mrs. Stickles of Detroit; Henry of Nebraska and Edmund of Kalamazoo, Mich. The funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon from the family residence. to the Lutheran cemetery.
