  JOHN KRUG OF CHESLEY DIES TODAY President of Krug Bros. Ltd. Passes Early Tuesday BRIEF ILLNESS Prominent Resident of Chesley Ill Less Than Week (Special to the Sun-Times) CHESLEY, Nov. 9-The first bereavement in a family of five brothers, who came here 55 years ago to organize the dominion wide known firm of Krug Bros. Company Ltd., furniture manufacturers, occurred here this morning, when Mr. John Krug, president of the firm passed away at an early hour. Death came after a brief illness of less than a week's duration, contracting a cold last week, which developed into pneumonia. aggravated by a heart condition, brought about his death. He was in his 78th year, and was born at Tavistock, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Krug. 52 years ago, he married Annie Heiserman of New Hamburg, who survives, and the year following, came to Chesley with his four brothers and a brother-in-law, to organize the industry, of which he became the president. Almost insurmountable difficulties faced the six men at times during the 51 years of their progress until the industry became firmly established and received the prominence for which they had so assicously striven.
