Mr. Ricker was a native of Germany and was in his eighty-ninth year. He was a faithful and lifelong member of the Methodist church and a staunch Liberal in politics. He leaves to mourn his loss two sons, David, of Troy, and George, of Branchton, and four daughters-Mrs. Bond, Puslinch; Mrs. Maise, Mrs. Munson and Mrs. Hatrick of Sheffield.
