- Services For George Thaler Held From Evangelical Church
Funeral services for George Thaler, 83, who died in the Didsbury hospital on Monday, November 24th, were held from the Evangelical Church at 2:30 o'clock on Thursday, November 27th, with Rev. A.J. Grams officiating.
Mr. Thaler was born in Hamburg, Ont., and moved to North Dakota. In 1908 he came to Canada and took up farming east of Didsbury, where he resided until 1943 when he retired and took up residence in town.
Surviving are his widow, Lovina; two sons, Cliff of Didsbury and Morris of Seattle, Wash.; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Myers, Langdon, N.D., and Edna, Didsbury; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

50-Year Resident Dies At Home
Sarah Lovina Thaler, 85, of Didsbury, died at her home Sunday. Born in Northeast Hope, Ont., she moved to Didsbury from Langdon, N.D. in 1908. She was a member of the Evangelical Church here.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Alice Myers, Langdon, and Edna, Didsbury; two sons, Clifford of Didsbury and Morris of Alderwood Manor, Wash.; a brother, Henry Amacher, Stratford, Ont.; a sister, Mrs. Clara Trachsewel, Edmonton; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
