  BARCLAY, Irene, H. - At Freeport Hospital Health Care Village, on Sunday, March 5, 1995 after a lengthy illness, the former Irene Hilda Berg, formerly of Birchcliffe Avenue, Kitchener, aged 62 years. Irene was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church and was Secretary Treasurer of Barclay Boiler Service since 1970 retiring in 1993 due to ill health. Daughter of Mrs. Mabel Berg of Tavistock; mother of Joyce and Janice, and her husband Robert Heier, all of Kitchener. Two grandchildren, Kyle and Brittany also survive. Predeceased by her father, Allan Berg; her husband, John in 1993; one brother, Ivan and one sister, Marie. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., until 11 a.m. on Tuesday when removal will be made to St. Stephen Lutheran Church, where the funeral and committal service will be held at 1 p.m., with Pastor Bill Shafer officiating. Interment will be in the St. James Lutheran Cemetery, North Easthope. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Freeport Hospital Health Care Village as expressions of sympathy.
