  Tombstone Entry: From Find a grave LORENTZ, Wanda Anne (nee Adelman) - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends, on January 13, 2007 in her 83rd year.She is survived and will be greatly missed by her son, Howard and his friend Carol Noble, both of Kitchener and two sisters, Pauline Lorenz of Elmira, Ontario and Erna Heise of Plunkett, Saskatchewan and her many nephews, nieces and their families. Her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories of how she touched all of our lives. Wanda was predeceased by her husband, Reinhard Lorentz; both her parents, John F. and Pauline Adelman; brothers, John, Herman, Walter and Erwin Adelman and sisters, Theresa and Hilda Adelman, Minnie Ott, Nora Herron, Sadie Hoeflicher and Marie Gummerson. Wanda was the sole proprietor of Kingsdale Hairdressing on King St. E. in Kitchener, until she retired in 1987. She was a long time member of Historic St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Kitchener. She was a much loved resident at Trinity Village Care Centre in Kitchener since 2004. Funeral Service will take place at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2007 at Historic St. Paul's Lutheran Church, located at 137 Queen St. S., Kitchener. Visitation will take place two hours prior at the church from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Following the interment, friends and family are invited back to the church hall for refreshments. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke foundation, Kidney Foundation or the charity of your choice and can be made by contacting Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, at 519-742-4481 or cards will be available the day of the service at the church.
