- MILLER, David - Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, on Monday, November 14, 2005, at the Freeport Health Centre, Grand River Hospital, Kitchener. David resided at RR1, Kincardine and was formerly of RR4, Kitchener. He was born 57 years ago in Kitchener and was the son of late Grant and Pearl (Hammer) Miller. Beloved husband of Helen (Waechter) Miller whom he married May 16, 1969. Dear father of Bradley David Miller of Wellesley and friend Joanne Noronha and Brenda and husband David Vollmer of Kitchener. Loving grandpa to Matthew Vollmer. Sadly missed by his brother and sisters Robert and wife Edna Miller of New Hamburg, Ruth Ann and husband Bill Flach of Lucknow, Miriam and husband Bill Weicker of Baden and a number of sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. David was predeceased by a sister Bonnie Sue and brother-in-law Jack Brennan. David was employed for over 30 years at Lear Seating in Kitchener and was a member of the CAW and honourary member of the Wilmot Rod & Gun Club. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg on Thursday, November 17, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Friday, November 18, 2005 at 11 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, Baden with Pastor Everett Mossman. Cremation to follow. Interment in Memory Gardens, Breslau. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or the charity of one's choice.
