- Edward Reiber, 80, formerly of 607 King St. West, died Sunday after a lengthy illness. He had been an employee of the Jacob Kaufman Lumber Ltd., for 42 years until his retirement in 1955.
Mr. Reiber was born March 27, 1880 in Waterloo, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Reiber, and had been a Twin City resident all his life. His wife, the former Isabella Albert died 20 Jul 1952.
Surviving are three sons, Milton and James, both of Kitchener, and Donald of Jacksonville, Fla., and two daughters Miss Mabel Reiber of Kitchener and Mrs. Wilton (Florence) Miller of Glen Allan, Ontario; three brothers, Carl and Frederick both of Buffalo and Otto of Waterloo: eight granschildren and one great-granddaughter.
The body is a the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where Rev. Dr. John Schmieder will conduct the funeral Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
