• Notes

  MANNHEIM Deaths. We regret to chronicle the deaths of two residents of this neighborhood in the persons of Mrs. Klie and Mr. W. Hofstetter. Mr. Hof- stetter died on the 16th after an illness of only a few months. He was buried on the Friday afternoon at the Latchar cemetery. It was onc f the largest funerals ever held in this vicinity. The bereavdl have our sincerest sympathy. There died on Friday evening at the Cedar Valley farm, Mrs. Klie, Sr. She was not ill until that evering, when she complained, of feeling indisposed. She grew rapidly worse and died a few minutes later, death being due to heart failure. She was buried at the Lutheran cemetery on Monday afternoon. The funeral was largely attended.
