A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character. Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.]. ______________________ LEARN. Mrs. Laura S. - On Thursday, Jan. 28, 1982,. at her, residence, Heritage House, St. Jacobs, Laura Learn, aged 95 years. She was born in Bridgeport and was first president of the Waterloo branch of the VON. Mrs. Learn. was a member of First United Church, Waterloo and the United Church Women. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lehman Shirk, wife of the late Arthur Learn: mother of Robert and Mary (Mrs. James Dettweiler), both of Waterloo. Also survived by three grandchildren. Penny, Patricia and Peter and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased, by one sister. A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Learn in the chapel of First United Church, Monday at 2 p.m., Rev. R.H.
