  AUGUST HERTZ LAID TO REST The funeral of August Hertz, president and general manager of the Hertz & Hosbach company, who died Thursday, was held from No. 207 Holden Ave., Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mr. Hertz wag born in Berlin. Ont., 55 years ago. and had been a. resident of this city for 37 years. He founded the sash manufactory of which he was president, and was a member of the Builders and Traders' exchange of Humboldt lodge, and of the German American association. His widow, three sons. Harvey, Raymond and Leslie. and three daughters, Gladys, Dorothy, and Mrs. George Cooper. Interment will be in Woodmere cemetery. Detroit Free Press 26 Mar 1917
