    • MR. J. KAEMPF DIED SUNDAY

      AFTER AN ILLNESS OF SIX WEEKS-WAS A CARPENTER CONTRACTOR, AGED 78 AND A GOOD CITIZEN.

      One of Berlin's good old citizens passed away on Sunday in the person of Mr. J. Frederick Kaempf He died at his residence, 418 College street, after an illness of six weeks, death being due to diabetes. Deceased was well known in town. having resided here for forty years, being occupied as a carpenter contractor.

      The late Mr. Kaempf was in his 78th year. He was a native of Bavaria, Germany, but for 61 years had lived in Canada. His wife predeceased him nine years ago three Children survive. They are, Mrs. McEwan, Bannockburn, Miss Jessin Kaempf, teacher, Berlin, and Mr. G. I. Kaempf, Guelph.

      The funeral will be held on Tuesday at two o'clock, from the residence, 118 College street, to Mount Hope cemetery.
