  Mrs. Edward Reist Suddenly stricken with a heart attack on Tuesday, Sept. 12th, Mrs. E. Reist, Krug St., Kitchener, passed away, her passing causing a shock to her family and friends. The late Mrs. Reist, nee Clara Magdalena Gerth of Wellesley. was born in the township of Wellesley 46 years ago and married Mr. Reist in 1916. She is survived by her husband and by one son and one daughter, Robert and Marie, both at home. Also surviving are two brothers. Norman of Wellesley and George Gerth of Kitchener. The funeral service was held on Friday with a private service at her late residence at 2.30 o'clock, followed by a service in St. Matthew's Lu theran church at thre o'clock. Interbment was made in St. Peter's cemetery. Rev. J. Schmieder, pastor of St. Matthew's church had charge of the services. Waterloo Chronicle 21 Sep 1933, p. 4
