WELLESLEY, Aug. 27. Mr. Henry Strebel passed away at is home here at four o'clock this morning after a lingering illness of 2 1-2 years duration, He had reached the age of 79 years, six months and 17 days.
The deceased was born at Guttenberg. lowa on February 10th. 1857 and during his early life farmed on the Hesson road. Wellesley township. He had resided in the village of Wellesley for nearly 40 years. He was a member of St. Paul's (Missouri Synod) Lutheran church
His wife predeceased him on January 1, 1936. Surviving are one on George at home and one brother John Strebel of Waterloo. One brother and one sister prede ceased him.
The funeral will take place on Saturday, August 29, with a private service at the family residence at two o'clock to be followed by a public service at St. Paul's church at 2.20 o'clock. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. G. Brasch, pastor of the Tavistock Lutheran church, will have charge of the service.
