      On Saturday, Oct. 17, at the RECU of Stratford General Hospital, Alefa Hoerle, of 89 Main St. N., Milverton and formerly of RR 3, Wellesley. Miss Hoerle was born in Wellesley township 89 years ago. She was a daughter of the late William Hoerle and the late Margaret Gremm. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Wellesley township. She is lovingly remembered by a number of nieces. She was predeceased by three sisters, Lucinda, Edith and Alma. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home in Wellesley, until noon Tuesday, Oct. 20, when removal will be made to St. John's Lutheran Church for the funeral service at 2: 30. Rev. A. L. Wiedman will officiate. Interment will follow in St. John's Lutheran cemetery.

      Three Charged With Arson In Farmhouse Fire

      Three youths were charged with setting a fire that destroyed a vacant farm house one mile east of Wellesley last month.
      Charged with arson by provincial police last week were Larry Gerber, 20, and Gerald Jantzi, 19, both of RR 2, Wellesley, and Gerald Wagler, 18, of RR 1, Millbank.

      The two-storey brick building that has been vacant for some years is owned by Alma and Alifa Hoerle of Milverton.

      The youths appeared before Magistrate Barron last week to set a trial date. At that time they were remanded in custody. Bail was set at $1,000 cash or $2,000 property.
