  JAMES CAPLING James Capling. 95. Brunner, formerly of Wellesley and North Easthope Township, died June 5 at the Brunner rest home. He was born in North Easthope March 3. 1873. son of the late Mr and Mrs. Stephen Capling. He farmed in North Easthope until 1931 when he retired. Mr Capling was an adherent of Oetzel's United Church. His wife, the former Christina Schmidt, died in 1929. Surviving are: two sons. Harry. RR 3. New Hamburg: Cecil. Eloradale; one daughter. Mrs. Frank (Romaine) Meggs. Markham; three grandchildren and 10great grandchildren. The body was at the Futher Brothers Funeral home. Wellesley until Friday when the service was held in the afternoon. Burial was in Oetzel's cemetery. New Hamburg Independent 1968 _________________ James Capling By Record Correspondent WELLESLEY James Capling, 95, formerly of Wellesley, died Wednesday at the Brunner Rest Home. Born in North Easthope Township on March 3, 1873, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Capling and had farmed in North Easthope Town- ship until 1931 when he retired. Mr. Capling was an adherent of Oetzels United Church. His wife, the former Christina Schmidt, predeceased him March 12, 1929. Surviving are two sons, Harry, RR 3, New Hamburg, and Cecil, Floradale; one daughter, Mrs. Frank (Romaine) Meggs, Markham; three grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was also predeceased by one brother and one sister. The body is at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley, where the service will be conducted on Friday at 2 p.m. by Rev. T. E. Dahms of Oetzels Church. Burial will be in Oetzels cemetery.
