    • Andrew Straus

      St. Agatha - A resident of this district Andrew Straus of Bamberg died June 16th at the Ontario Hospital from pneumonia. Deceased, a farmer, was a member of St. Agatha R.C. church. He was born in Waterloo County. Surviving are his widow, Otilla Ditner, zve [sic] sons, Felix, Albert, Linus and Alex of Bamberg, Leander of Kitchener, three daughters Levina of Kitchener, Matilda and Caroline of Bamberg, three brothers, Simon of Bamberg, Peter of Kitchener, and David, Detroit, four sisters, Mrs. Andrew Diebolt, St. Agatha, Mrs. Frank Rettinger, Formosa, Mrs. Lorne Kroetsch, Detroit and Mrs. Jonas Reitzel of St. Clements. Funeral services were held on Tuesday morning to St, Agatha R.C. church with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
