    • A few friends and relatives of the late Jno. Moser of Bamberg attended his funeral at St. Agatha last Tuesday.

      BAMBERG       The death occurred at his home here on Saturday, May 10, of John W. Moser, at the age of 79 years. Sixteen months ago he suffered a paralylic stroke which rendered him helpless and he had since been confined to his home. The late Mr. Moser was born near Waterloo where he spent his youth. He then moved with his parents on to a farm at Bamberg where he resided until his death. He was well known and highly respected thruout the country. He was twice married. His first wife predeceased him 45 years ago. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife and thirteen children, eight sons and five daughters. The funeral took place on Tuesday morning from his late residence to St. Agatha R.C. church, where a high mass was held, followed by interment in the R. C. cemetery. The funeral was largely attended.

      John W. Moser

      One of Bamberg's oldest and most highly esteemed citizens passed away on Saturday at noon, in the person of John W. Moser. Deceased was born in 1845 a mile north of Waterloo, and in 1857 with his father settled at Bamberg where he has lived ever since. At the age of 22 he married Marie Strauss who died in 1878. In 1879 he married Caroline Helm. Surviving him are his wife and thirteen children, eight sons, 5 daughters. forty-six grandchildren and seventeen great grand children. The children are: Philip of this city, Mrs. Gregor Dorscht, Mrs. Jack Stockie, Emil, Louie, Mrs. A. Busch and Winnifred of Waterloo; Mrs. William Lambertus of Walkerton, and Mrs. Thomas Hinschberger, Peter, Robert and Albert of Bamberg. John, The funeral will take place on Tuesday at 9.30 am. at St. Agatha.
