- JACOB HEIMPEL PASSES AT LOCAL HOSPITAL
The death occurred yesterday afternoon of Jacob Heimpel, of Erbsville, at the Kitchener and Waterloo Hospital where he had been seriously ill for nearly three weeks. Mr. Heimpel was in his 64th year and was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran church, Erbsville and was one of its most faithful attendants.
He leaves to mourn a wife and two sons and two daughters, as follows: Angus of Heidelberg, Alvin at home, Melinda (Mrs. Philip Conrad) Erbsville and Kate at home.
The funeral will take place Sunday morning at 9:30 from his late residence in Erbsville to St. Peter's Lutheran church for service and interment at the Erbsville cemetery.
Mr. Heimpel was well known in Waterloo and the surrounding countryside. His jovial good nature winning many friends for him, for he always had a smile and it was said of him that he could laugh more than any other man in the surrounding country.

JACOB HEIMPEL
A well known resident of Erbsville in the person of Mr Jacob Heimpel, passed away at the K. and W. Hospital on Wednesday, March 7. in his 64th year, after an illness of three weeks. Deceased was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church at Erbsville and will be missed by his many friends among whom he was quite popular.
A sorrowing wife, two sons and two daughters survive namely, Angus of Heidelberg, Alvin at home, Melinda (Mrs. Philip Conrad) of Erbsville and Catharine at home.
The funeral took place from the late residence on Sunday morning at 9.30 o'clock to St. Peter's Lutheran Church for service thence to the Erbsville cemetery for interment.
