    • MR. DUPLAN'S DEATH

      On old and highly respected resident of Branchton, passed away on Monday morning, at 1 o'clock, in the person of Charles F. Duplan, aged 78 years 8 months and 3 days. Deceased was for many years station master at Branciton until on account of ill health, he was forced to retire and has since resided with his son-in-law, in town, Mr. James S. Bawtinheimer. Mr. Duplan was the father of Mrs. Thos. Ballantyne of this town. The funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon, from the residence of his son-in-law, Mr. James S. Bawtinheimer, to Trinity church cemetery, Galt. The remains were followed to their last resting place, by a great many of the relatives and friends of the deceased.
