• Notes

  DEATH. A very sad death took place in our village on Monday morning, when the late Solomon Sittler passed away at the home of his mother, on King St. The deceased was only in his 38th year, and had been suffering from cancer for some time. Previous to coming here, he resided in Hawkesville and Conestogo and was well and favorably known in these places as well as here. The funeral will be held this (Wednesday) afternoon to Conestogo Mennonite Church for service and burial. Five young children are left to mourn the loss of a kind and loving father, the mother having died about a year ago at Conestogo.
