  LICHTI, Amos Z. -- Of 247 Franklin Ave., Kitchener, formerly of Waterloo, at his residence, Wednesday, June 24, 1981, A member of Erb Street Mennonite Church. He had originally farmed in the Waterloo Area and had retired from Uniroyal Ltd. Father of Wilbert of Baden, Verna (Mrs. Edmund Girard) of Bridgeport, Mary (Mrs. Robert Manser), Erma (Mrs. Donald Williams), both of Kitchener, Selena (Mrs. Harvey Lammert) of Waterloo, Lorraine (Mrs. Harold Brohman) of Bloomingdale, Ruth (Mrs. Earl Wetchel) of Toronto; step-father of Norma (Mrs. Dave Kirby) of Waterloo; brother of Mrs. Fanny Bender of Milverton, Mrs. Lena Gerber, Emma (Mrs. Aaron Gerber), both of Crosshill, Martha (Mrs. Tom Coulter) of Listowel. Also surviving are 26 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Magdalena (nee Zehr) and Peter P. Lichti; his first wife, Sarah Leis (1949) and his second wife, Loretta Kreller (1968); also four brothers. Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton St., Kitchener until noon on Friday, when transfer will be made to the Erb Street Mennonite Church for funeral service at 2 p.m..
