Passed away peacefully at the Village of Winston Park, Kitchener, on June 20, 2008, at age 90.
Loving sister of Loretta Ditner, Viola Spielmacher and Frank Rumig and his wife Pat. Lovingly remembered by her brother-in-law George Buck; sister-in-law Marie Rumig; many nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Nelson; her parents Anthony and Barbara Rumig; sister Coletta and brothers Hubert and Allen.
Marie was a long time devoted member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 530, Waterloo, Ladies Auxiliary, the Waterloo Rod and Gun Club, St Paul?s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Erbsville, and past owner of Cedar Grove Lodge and will be sadly missed by all she met and knew.
Honouring Marie's personal wishes cremation has taken place.
The memorial service to celebrate Marie's life and faith will be held at St. Paul?s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Erbsville, on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Olaf Poulsen officiating. Interment at Erbsville Cemetery. A reception will follow the committal service, in the church hall.
