    • WELTZ, Aaron G. -- On Sunday, May 28, 1978, at Freeport Hospital, Aaron George Weltz, aged 81 years, formerly of Waterloo St., Kitchener. Father of John of Waterloo and Lorraine (Mrs. David Van Schalk) of Kitchener; grandfather of David and Michael VanSchalk and Krista Weltz; brother of Henry Weltz of Kitchener and Edith (Mrs. Milton Weber) of Hanover; predeceased by his wife, the former Lydia Erb, on May 27, 1975; his father John Weltz, his mother, the former Carolin Miller and three sisters. He owned and operated Weltz's Variety Store on Waterloo Street for 40 years, until retiring in 1977. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, until 1 p.m., on Wednesday, then at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Benton at Church Streets, Kitchener, for funeral and committal service on Wednesday at 3 p.m. Rev. Harold Brill will conduct the service. Interment will be made in Memory Gardens.
