  Mrs. Reginald Vernon LISTOWEL - Following a brief illness, Mrs. Reginald C. Vernon, 78, a resident of the 3rd concession of Wallace Township for the past 41 years, died yesterday at the Listowel Memorial Hospital. She was the former Elizabeth Schaefer, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Schaefer and was born in Heidelberg, Ont. She was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church. Her marriage to Reginald C. Vernon, who survives, took place Nov. 17, 1897. She is also survived by one son, Albert of Listowel, and one brother Harvey of RR 4, Bright. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the Knox Presbyterian Church with Rev. Max V. Putnam officiating assisted by Rev. R.B. Geelhaar of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The body is at the McLaughlin and Reed Funeral Home, Listowel Kitchener-Waterloo Record 10 Apr 1953
