  Oscar John Lorentz 1922 - 2017 Passed away at Grand River Hospital on Monday December 18, 2017 at the age of 95 years. Oscar was the loving husband of 73 years to Rose Lorentz (nee) Nicoloff. Oscar was predeceased by 7 brothers and 6 sisters. He was also predeceased by his parents Jacob and Mary Lorentz (nee) Boegle. Oscar will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Oscar was a long time dedicated employee of B.F. Goodrich and enjoyed a long retirement of building cottages and enjoying time at the lake. Friends are invited to share their memories of Oscar with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday December 21 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at 2 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church 49 Blueridge Ave, Kitchener, ON Friday December 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Tim Uniac, CR, as Celebrant. Reception to follow in the church hall.
