  Daniel B. Fordney, "the eldest son of the first wife, was first married to Elizabeth, daughter of Jacob Shupe, and after her decease to Sarah Armstrong. They resided near Plattsville, Oxford County, where his second wife died. He is still living on his old farm. He has had quite a family." Eby, Ezra E. (1895).
