  Polly Grody, "was married to Tobias Holdeman. They resided in Wilmot Township for some time then they moved to Ohio where he died of cholera. She died several years ago, leaving a family of nine children, namely: Sarah, Joseph, Elizabeth, Abraham, and five others whose names were not received" Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character.
