    • ST. CLEMENTS. Sad Suicide-A very sad case of suicide occurred here this morning when Mr. Sam Brenner hung himself. Deceased was the owner of one of the finest farms in this locality, situated half a mile east of here, the house and barn being close to the main road leading to Berlin. Mr. Brenner arose at 4: 30 a.m. as usual und went immediately to the barn. His son, Isadore, awoke at 5 o'clock and also went to the barn to do the feeding, when he made the awful discovery that his father had taken his life. The news cast a deep gloom in the village where deceased was a prominent figure. No cause is known that led to the rash deed as he was in no financial straits. His widow and a large family are left to mourn the loss.
