  August Thuroo August Thuroo, aged 85 years, died this morning at his home, 32 Noecker St., Waterloo, following a shot illness. He was born in Germany on August 15, 1880, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilhelm Thuroo, and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Erbsville. Mr. Thuroo is survived by two sons, William of Erbsville, and John of Trout Creek; and two daughters, Mrs. John Heinrich of Bamberg and Mrs. Harry Johnston of Winnipeg. There are also 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. His wife, formerly Bertha Mueller, died in 1923. The remains are resting at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements which will be announced later.
