      The death occurred on Saturday morning at the family residence in Heidelburg of Mrs. Adam Steiss.

      The deceased had reached the age of 72 years, 9 months and 6 days and had bean apparently in the best of health but succumbed very suddenly early Saturday morning to heart disease. The deceased had been a life long resident of Heidelburg, where she was a highly respected citizen and her many friends heard of her death with deep regret.

      She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. H. G. Hahn of Stratford, and four sons, John of Kitchener, Oscar of Detroit, Albert of Heidelburg and William of Toronto. Also one brother, J. W. Huehnergard of Kitchener, and Mrs. George Lackenbauer of Waterloo.

      The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock from her late residence to the Lutheran Church and thence to the Lutheran Cemetery for internment.
